At Magnolia Gardens, we want to treat your family like our family.

The quality of treatment and life for our residents is the most important priority at Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living. Every action we make is to strengthen the foundations of love and compassion that our company is based on. We strive to make sure all of our facilities are attractive, clean, comfortable, and dependable, to provide the warmth of home, the security and friendship of family, and the opportunity for all residents to live a fulfilling life.

Deborah Steverson opened her first assisted living facility in Seminary in 1999. A small, 13 bed building, it was run around the clock by Deborah and a few family members. Seeing an increased need in the community, she opened the facility in Laurel in 2004. It has created scores of jobs and enabled many individuals to transfer from assisted living back into the community. In 2010, Deborah opened the facility in Ellisville to specialize in elderly patients with alzheimer's and dementia.

We work one on one with families to identify and meet the special needs of each resident. We cater to any dietary requirements and employ a certified dietician to assist in meal planning, and communicate with your loved one's health professionals to assure an accurate medication regimen. We have RNs, LPNs, and Med Techs on site around the clock, as well as a physician on call to handle any medical situation. We employ a activities coordinator to plan daily activities and monthly outings to enrich the lives of our residents

Magnolia Gardens and it's owner, Deborah Steverson, have received numerous awards and recognitions, including: Who's Who in Executives and Professionals, Friends of Education, National Small Business Alliance, 50 Leading Business Women, Mississippi Health Care Association Outstanding Health Care Volunteers and Professionals, MHCA 2006 Assisted Living Administrator of the Year, 2008 Better Business Bureau Business Integrity Award
